This is a design I did for my friend's blog called The Stereogram. It's powered by WordPress and will involve a lot of custom functionality. My goal was to really try a new style so I really went all out and worked on that footer illustration for about 8 hours and went for a loose & hand-crafted looking style but coupled with some tighter typography layout in the articles to make it feel more official than too D.I.Y.
